Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 is set to go live on February 13, 2026, finally bringing Elsa Bloodstone to the Duelist roster. As with any seasonal or mid-season update, there will also be a round of hero balance adjustments, including buffs, nerfs, tweaks, and even, in rare cases, ability removals or new ability additions.
During Season 6.5, some of these more rare changes are occurring, and for none other than the Strategist, Adam Warlock. With this round of hero balance adjustments, Adam is getting some pretty significant buffs, which include new effects to Soul Bond and even the ability to fly.
Adam Warlock Fans Have Won – He Can Finally Fly in Marvel Rivals!

After over a year of fans begging Marvel Rivals devs to add a flight ability to Adam Warlock’s kit, the Strategist hero is finally set to receive one in Season 6.5. This comes alongside a brand-new buff for his Soul Bond ability.
During Soul Bond, Adam Warlock can now both hover and attack during the ability’s duration. In addition to this, Adam is gaining a brand-new flight mode to his kit. During this ability, he enters his flight mode at 10m/s for up to 4 seconds at full energy. The energy fully recharges from 0 to max in 15 seconds.
Here’s a look at the original post, shared by trusted Marvel Rivals leaker and news source, X0XLEAK:
This is a huge change for Adam Warlock that will undoubtedly give him a boost in value in terms of the Season 6.5 META. Considering Adam Warlock has been one of the lower-performing Strategists in recent seasons and only prominently played in triple Strategist comps, this will likely give him a bit more impact as a pick in various team comps outside of this format.
In addition to this, Adam’s Flight mode is just an all-around very satisfying addition to the game. Fans have been asking for this change to his kit ever since the game was released. After all, it is a key part of Adam Warlock’s abilities in the Marvel universe, so it’s understandable that the community found his lack of movement disappointing.
Now that he has a flight mode, new possibilities will open up for his gameplay. Not only will you be able to use it to your advantage in poke comps to gain advantageous map positions for damaging enemies or gaining healing line of sight on your allies, but it will also come in very handy when it comes to escaping dives.
Because of this, Adam will likely see some pretty nice improvement to his survivability, and therefore his overall impact on his team. Fans can dive into experiencing these changes on Adam Warlock when the Marvel Rivals Season 6.5 update goes live on Friday, February 13.
