Overwatch has welcomed its fair share of collaborations with other franchises at this point, having created crossover events with the likes of My Hero Academia, Transformers, Cowboy Bebop, One Punch Man, and more. During the Feb 2026 Overwatch Spotlight, one of the first collabs of 2026 has been revealed as an adorable crossover with none other than Hello Kitty & Friends!

During the OW Spotlight Feb 2026 stream, the devs announced that they have some very exciting crossover collaboration events in store for 2026. To kickstart all of them, they showcased a teaser for one of these events, Hello Kitty & Friends.
The Hello Kitty & Friends crossover collaboration event will arrive in Overwatch on February 10, when this new story-based ‘reboot’ goes live with Season 1.
From what we’ve seen so far, there are six skins in total that will be available – D.Va, Mercy, Lucio, Juno, Widowmaker, and Kiriko. With four out of the six being Support heroes, it seems the Support roster is eating good with skins for this collaboration!
Here’s a closer look at each one of the Overwatch 2 x Hello Kitty & Friends skins. When they arrive in-game, it is very likely that they will be available for individual purchase as a skin, purchase via individually-themed hero bundles, and also available in a complete Hello Kitty & Friens bundle with all items included.
D.Va – MyMelody

Widowmaker – Kuromi

Lucio – Keroppi

Kiriko – Cinnamoroll

Mercy – Pompompurin

Juno – Hello Kitty

Much like previous crossover collaboration events, the Hello Kitty & Friends event will be a limited-time event opportunity. Other than the skins included, there will likely be other earnable goodies to obtain via event challenges, and perhaps even a free skin out of the bunch – as seen with some others.
Other than the Hello Kitty crossover, plenty of exciting news was announced for Overwatch during today’s Spotlight stream. This includes the new story direction with Vendetta as the head of Talon, a reveal including five out of ten new characters for the year, new improvements/features, and so much more. Overwatch Season 1 goes live on February 10, 2025 – if you’re a fan of the game, you don’t want to miss it!
