Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans, Version 3.0 is finally out! And we’re excited to see all the new content this update has dropped. One of the most exciting collaboration content you’ve been looking forward to getting in-game is The Legend of Zelda items that you can buy with bells. But first, you need to unlock them before making any purchases. With that, here’s how to get the Zelda items in the new Animal Crossing New Horizons update.

Animal Crossing New Horizons: How to Access the Zelda-themed Items

There are several Zelda-themed items in this new update. However, while Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ Version 3.0 update is free, getting these items isn’t exactly as free as you’d think.

First, you need to have any The Legend of Zelda amiibo. An amiibo is an interactive Nintendo toys-to-life figurine and card that connects to your video games. You can purchase this in your local game store.

After doing so, go to the Nook Stop at Resident Services in your Animal Crossing: New Horizons island. There are two villagers who can be invited to join your campsite, one being Tulin and the other Mineru. The villager you get doesn’t matter, as simply scanning a Zelda amiibo will let you unlock the items.

You can also invite Mineru or Tulin to live on your island by interacting with them to get them to move to your island.
