How to Complete Side Mission 007 – A Feisty Chespin in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

To begin the A Fesity Chespin Side Mission in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, you will need to locate the Taxi driver named Axi, who has a Chespin pestering her and preventing work by blocking her car from moving.

Where to Find Axi & the Chespin in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Axi and the Chespin can be found at Academia Etoile in the Rouge District. You should be able to see the little Chespin posed up in front of the taxi cab on this street, as referenced in the screenshot below. Speak to Axi, and she will reveal that Chespin is all amped up and blocking her car from leaving, as it is looking for a battle. It will now be up to you to defeat Chespin in battle!

After initiating the mission, you will be able to leave and interact with other objectives if you’d like to, before finally taking Chespin on. Use this opportunity to prepare your team in advance by switching out for Type advantages, head over to the Pokemon Center to stock up on potions, or level up your team a bit if you feel the need to do so.

Prepare For the Fight: Chespin Weaknesses & Best Counters

In Pokemon Legends: Z-A, Chespin is a pure Grass Type Pokemon. This means that Chespin will be weak against Fire, Poison, Ice, Flying, and Bug Types, so you should look to use these Pokemon in the fight – especially as you will need to win multiple battles against this Chespin to complete the mission.

One of the best Pokemon for this fight is Fletchinder, if you have one. This is because Fletchinder is a Fire/Flying Dual-Type, so it doubles up on Type advantage over Chespin. However, any Pokemon that holds a Type advantage and is equal level to your team should be able to get the job done. Some strong options to consider include Tepig/Pignite, Heracross, Litleo, or Spewpa/Vivillon.

You will now need to defeat Chespin three times in order to complete Side Mission 007 – A Feisty Chespin. However, this is all that needs to be done, so as long as you prepare beforehand, you should be able to knock these battles out consecutively for a decently fast completion.

As you complete the quest, Axi will point out that Chespin seems to respond well to you, and will suggest that you two stick together.
