The Assessor Matrix is one of the most sought after materials since the Flashpoint update in ARC Raiders. It is not something you will come across during a normal raid, as you need to go out of your way to obtain it. Here is everything to know about the Assessor Matrix in ARC Raiders.
What Is the Assessor Matrix?
Simply put, Assessor Matrix it’s a crafting material in ARC Raiders. In the Flashpoint update, you need it for the High-Gain Antenna player project, which has three stages.
You don’t need it for Stage 1, but Stages 2 and 3 both require it. So if you’re trying to finish that project, you’ll need a total of 24 Assessor Matrix.
How To Get the Assessor Matrix
Getting the Assessor Matrix is actually not that hard, however, there is a certain map condition for it to spawn. The Assessor Matrix only drops during a map condition called Close Scrutiny.
This event runs for about one hour and can appear on most maps. The only exception is Stella Montis, where it never shows up.
Here’s what changes when Close Scrutiny event starts:
- No active locked doors
- Decreased amount of overall loot value
- Increased amount of ARC loot
- ARC Assessors start spawning at random spots, marked directly on your map
Finding and Looting ARC Assessors
Once the event is active, ARC Assessors will appear on your map. When you get close to an Assessor area, look up for red beams shooting into the sky, as they mark the exact locations of the Assessors.
Each ARC Assessor has three containers that you can breach and loot. However, you need to be quick. These Assessors will begin to launch and fly away a few minutes after the platform appears.
If you are playing with a party, it is best to plan ahead. A bunch of flying enemies guard the Assessors, including the Vaporizers, and they are actively annoying.
So coordinate your roles, one player can focus on looting while the others distract the enemies.
Play smart and use smoke grenades to stay hidden from the guards. Then, quickly climb the platform and loot the containers. Be creative with your approach, this is ARC Raiders, and there are many ways to successfully secure the loot.
What Else Can You Get From ARC Assessors?
The Assessor Matrix isn’t the only reward. You might also find:
- Dolabra Blueprint, a brand new legendary shotgun added in the Flashpoint update
- Other high-value loot that’s hard to find elsewhere during Close Scrutiny
If you’re farming for the Matrix, treat the Dolabra blueprint as a nice bonus whenever it shows up.
The Assessor Matrix takes some patience to farm, but once you know where to go and what to do, you can collect them in large amounts in no time.
