After the Hoppip event, Pokémon Pokopia will celebrate April Fool’s Day with a one-day event.

Taking place on April 1, it will give all players a chance to earn an exclusive decoration: a dancing Inflatable Sudowoodo.

As the name suggests, the item is inspired by Sudowoodo, a Pokémon known for disguising itself as a tree to avoid being attacked by enemies.

According to leaks, players will need to complete a special challenge by answering three questions correctly to receive the reward.

Simply go to the Pokémon Center, interact with the PC, and open the Challenges menu to start the event. However, you will need to rebuild it in at least one biome to access the PC.

Next, talk to the Pokémon with speech bubbles containing an ellipsis (…) above their heads. They will mimic other Pokémon, and your job is to correctly guess which ones they are impersonating.

Once you’ve answered all three questions correctly, return to the PC in the Pokémon Center and go back to the Challenges menu to claim your Inflatable Sudowoodo.

On the other hand, if you answer incorrectly, you can keep talking to the Pokémon until you get three correct answers.

Also, in case you miss the April Fool’s event, simply adjust Nintendo Switch 2’s system clock to go back in time and claim the item.

How to Time Travel in Pokémon Pokopia?

Pokémon Pokopia follows your device’s time, in this case your Nintendo Switch. Here’s how to go back in time:

  1. Save your game and go to System Settings.
  2. Navigate to the Date & Time tab and turn off “Synchronize Clock via Internet.”
  3. Set your desired date and time, then reopen Pokémon Pokopia.

Changing the time will not affect your progress, and you can travel not only to the past but also to the future.
