The “Toward the Nest” main quest of Chapter 5 in Crimson Desert, with an objective to activate the Skybridge, takes place in the Crescent Skybridge area of the Abyss, right after you complete the “Activate the Spire of Soaring” section and ride the platform upward.

The goal of this objective is to restore power to the mechanism by aligning laser orbs and reconnecting two broken cables, then activating the final switch. This guide will provide you with tips and tricks on how to activate the Skybridge in Crimson Desert.

Climb Upwards and Align the Laser Orbs

Right after arriving at the Abyss Nexus at the north of Demeniss, you need to climb upward to the higher structures. Use Force Palm jumps or Axiom Force to gain height and reach the upper platform directly across from the initial laser orb. Once you locate the orbs, follow these steps:

1. Use Axiom Force to grab and rotate each orb so its beam points toward the opposing switch on the far side.
2. Start with the more accessible ones near the starting point, as one of the central lasers may already be aligned correctly.
3. You need to align the left and right orbs on the outer platforms.
4. If done right, this should power up the rotating rings and mechanisms.
5. Be sure to ride those activated rings once powered as moving platforms to reach higher and more distant orbs.

Reconnect the Broken Cables

As soon as you correctly align the laser beams, the rings will start moving. Then, you need to cross over using either your gliding skill or the rotating platforms. There, you have to look out for broken cables by pressing L1 + R1 on PlayStation or LB + RB on Xbox to highlight them.

Note that active cables will glow blue, but the broken ones that you need to restore will glow yellow. Also, watch out for the purple flowers, as these can poison and damage you heavily, so avoid or destroy them when possible.

1. Look out for these stone cables along the paths and central areas.
2. You need to find the two unconnected cables that appear as broken pipes.
3. Once you find them, simply interact with them to plug them back in.
4. One is typically near the central crystal on the far side, and the second is often along the right path.

After reconnecting both of those cables, the power flow should improve, but do check with the cable highlight button, when yellow sections should turn blue.

Activate and Cross the Skybridge

With all lasers aligned and cables reconnected, head over to the end of the path. Use your Force Palm on the large switch at the end, and grab its center with Axiom Force to rotate clockwise, which should activate the Skybridge.

Once activated, the Crescent Skybridge forms and extends, allowing you to proceed to the final battleground area for the quest’s conclusion, where you confront the Crowcaller boss.
