Abyss puzzles take place in sky realms scattered across the skies of Pywel in Crimson Desert. These challenges require you to use abilities and platforming to power up the Abyss.
While exploring the Hernand region, you can access the Chaos Forest Abyss by heading to the top of the Spire of Insight. This puzzle is particularly tricky, as it requires you to restore the pieces needed to activate the Abyss.

How to Access the Chaos Forest Abyss Puzzle
The Abyss Gate to Chaos Forest is located at the top of the Spire of Insight tower. You must first solve the Spire of Insight puzzle (as Kliff) to get to the top and access the Abyss Gate to the Chaos Forest.
How to Solve the Chaos Forest Abyss Puzzle
Upon arriving at the Chaos Forest Abyss, you will spot a door ahead. Approach the door and use the Nature’s Grasp skill to open the door. Here, you will enter the main puzzle area with thorns all over it.
The first thing you need to do is to get rid of the thorns. Use the Blinding Flash skill and focus the light on the thorns to burn them. Burn all the thorns to reveal the socket for the second chip and a pool of water.
The chip that you are looking for is in the middle of the area, burning over a small floating platform. Use the Axiom Force skill to grab the burning chip and bring it over to the pool of water. Dunk the chip inside the water to cool it, and then take it over to the socket. Place the chip over the socket until you see leaves around it. Now, go on top of the chip and use the Force Palm skill while in the air to push it into the socket.
NOTE: If something unexpected happens during the puzzle, you can reset it by teleporting back to the Abyss Nexus at the start of the Chaos Forest Abyss.
Once done, you need to head across to the other side. Jump and use the Force Palm skill three times to get high up in the air, and then use Flight to fly across. As you get to the other side, you will witness thorns again. Use the Blinding Flash skill to burn all the thorns and go to the door covered with thorns. Burn these thorns as well to reveal the door. Use the Nature’s Grasp to lift the door and head inside the room to spot the chip.
Now, before you place the chip into the socket on the wall, you must keep the door open. To do so, carry the block from the room and place it underneath the door, so it does not close. Once done, use Axiom Force to place the chip over the socket. Jump up and use the flight to get in line with the chip, and then use the Force Palm to push the chip into the socket.
This should power up the big circle outside. Now, head outside and climb up to the big circular thing. Go to its center and use the Force Palm to power up the Abyss. This will complete the Chaos Forest Abyss puzzle.
Before you leave or activate the device to reach the next Abyss, make sure to collect the Abyss Artifact above the big circular thing.
