What To Expect in Fortnite OG Season 8

Fortnite OG Season 8 is set to bring back players to the nostalgic vibe of Chapter 1. Here is the content you can expect in Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 8:

Map Changes

The map is getting a big shake-up. The Volcano is the star of the show, it’s a massive POI that will be located in the northeast part of the map. Two other new locations are also coming:

  • Lazy Lagoon
  • Sunny Steps

New Loot Pool

The weapons and items are changing too. Here’s what’s coming in:

  • Flint-Knock Pistol
  • Boom Bow
  • Heavy Assault Rifle
  • Treasure Map
  • Poison Dart Trap
  • Impulse Grenade
  • Shadow Bomb

These items bring a lot of variety. The Shadow Bomb in particular was behind some legendary plays back in Chapter 1, including moments from big tournament games.

Mobility and Vehicles

Two big mobility options are coming this season. Pirate Cannons are placed around the map and let you launch yourself in any direction to rotate fast or surprise enemies.

Later in the season, The Baller returns, a hamster ball vehicle that was notoriously overpowered when it first launched. Expect a lot of chaos once that shows up.

New Skins – The OG Pass

Three Remix skins are coming with this season’s OG Pass:

  • Luxe Remix
  • Hybrid Remix
  • Blackheart Remix

These take the original Season 8 looks and give them a fresh update. One surprising thing is that there will be no new Peely skin this time. He started in Season 8 originally, so a lot of players expected him to return. Epic seems to be holding that one back for now.

The OG Pass will cost V-Bucks or be included with Crew, same as usual. Don’t expect it to be free this time around.

Limited Time Mode

On April 3, the Endgame LTM arrives, a Marvel-themed mode that’s a fan favorite.

Fortnite OG Season 8 is shaping up to be an epic and nostalgic one. The Volcano, the pirate theme, the returning weapons, it’s a solid mix of nostalgia and fun chaos!
