The Sanctum of Benediction in Crimson Desert is a part of the “The Witch of Wisdom” faction quest given by Elowen in the Witchwoods. This quest becomes available after progressing through the main story in Chapter 3, with full access in the second half of Chapter 5.

Note that if you visit the sanctum too early, you’ll see a message: “The sanctum cannot be purified yet.” Also, you need to have Axiom Force and the Kuku Pot already unlocked. This guide will provide you with tips and tricks on how to cleanse the Sanctum of Benediction in Crimson Desert.

Clear All Enemies to Liberate the Sanctum

The Sanctum of Benediction is located in the western part of the Hernand region, in a snowy mountain area. You can approach it from the south via the road or from nearby fast travel points like the Abyss Cresset north of Hernand Town. Note that the area is high in the mountains, so either ride a Wyvern mount or follow the river path westward for the easiest route.

1. The sanctum is overrun with Antumbra enemies, so defeat them all before solving the puzzle.
2. Once it’s cleared, a central ancient machine, which is a large generator, becomes active.
3. Now you can start looking for missing pieces and enable the generator.

Assemble the Generator to Solve the Puzzle

Here, you need to find and correctly place two Fusion Reactor Cores into the central machine. Here’s how to find the first one, which is the Battery Cube:

1. Head down the stairs on the south side of the sanctum, from the central machine.
2. Turn right into the small, dark room at the bottom.
3. Use your Axiom Force to grab the cube block.
4. Bring it back upstairs to the main structure.
5. Insert it into the empty socket hole at the base of the machine.

You can also use a regular Force Palm to push it in and secure into the socket. The machine should start powering up partially. Then, you need to find the second piece, which is the Stone Orb:

1. Go to the south side of the large central tower, which is opposite the main puzzle machine, near a sealed doorway with a window.
2. Light the lantern to your right of the sealed doorway to open the door.
3. Enter the room and retrieve the round piece to your left.
4. Use your Axiom Force to grab it and seal it into your Kuku Pot for transportation.
5. Bring it to the broken pillar on the main structure that’s missing its top.
6. Place the orb on top of the pillar and jump on top of it.
7. Use an Aerial Force Palm to slam it down and fix it in place.

Once you insert both cores correctly, the machine will fully activate, and the sanctum will be cleansed. When you complete the entire “The Witch of Wisdom” quest, you’ll be rewarded with the Kuku Marni Laser Helm blueprint.
