As everyone expected, we just received the official teaser trailer for the second episode of Steel Ball Run: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. It is being called the “2nd Stage” and will cover the second stage of the Steel Ball Run. Unfortunately, the teaser reveals that it will be released in 2026, with no specific dates.
With the high expectations fans had after watching the first episode, some are worried that Netflix might somehow botch the experience with this release schedule. The reception has been mixed, but here’s everything we know so far.
What Will Episode 2 Cover?
The 2nd Stage covers a desert crossing of roughly 750 miles. Unlike the start, things take a weird turn here due to ominous events and a murder. Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli must now overcome this area, notoriously called the Devil’s Palm.
Due to the naming pattern, it is highly likely that Netflix will go for one special episode for each stage of the run. However, to keep things manga spoiler-free, we will not discuss anything beyond the 2nd stage.
The Production Is Going Smoothly
In a recent interview, Director Yasuhiro Kimura confirmed that even he doesn’t have a full idea of the episode schedule, but he can assure that David Productions is doing just fine with the adaptation.

Should We Be Worried?
Not really. Aside from the episode schedule, there shouldn’t be any concerns regarding the anime quality. David Productions did a wonderful job with episode 1, and it stands as one of the top-rated anime on MyAnimeList.
It sucks that we won’t be seeing episode 2 soon enough, but as long as the episodes don’t lose their quality, it will be a win for all JoJo fans.
