The Armor of Shadows set is one of the dark aesthetic sets in Crimson Desert that gives Kliff a look of a Dark Lord. Alongside the sharp look of the armor, you get great defense stats, unique Abyss Gears, and Fire Resistance Level 7, all at base level. You can refine the Armor of Shadows to enhance its overall stats, which will do great even at the end-game.

Armor of Shadows Set in Crimson Desert
The Armor of Shadows set includes five armor pieces, including Gloves, Boots, Chest Armor, Cloak, and Helm. The first four pieces are found at specific locations across the western side of Hernand. It is a big snowy mountain region, and I personally recommend using the Frostcursed Armor Set to explore the region. The final piece, Helm of the Shadows, is earned from defeating Beloth, the Darksworn, also located on the western side of Hernand.
Plate Gloves of the Shadows Location in Crimson Desert
The Plate Gloves of the Shadows piece is inside the Everfrost Cave, located southwest of Hernand at the out-of-bounds edge. It is near the Abyss Nexus, south of the Everfrost River.
To reach the cave, start heading south towards the mountains and stay close to the edge of the map. As you reach the mountain in the front, you will spot the cave entrance easily. Alternatively, if you have made it to the frozen pond on top of the mountain, head to the mountain on the right to find the cave.
Upon reaching the Everfrost Cave, head inside to spot the treasure chest. Loot the treasure chest to get the Plate Gloves of the Shadows piece.
Plate Boots of the Shadows Location in Crimson Desert
The Plate Boots of the Shadows piece is inside the Frostclaw Cave, located behind the waterfall at the Everfrost River.
The waterfall you are looking to enter has rocks in front of it. Once you are there, use the Stab skill by pressing R1 + Triangle (PS5) while standing close to the waterfall to pass through it.
Now, head inside the cave and loot the treasure chest to get the Plate Boots of the Shadows piece.
Plate Armor of the Shadows Location in Crimson Desert
The Plate Armor of the Shadows is inside a locked door next to the Everfrost Watchtower, located on the west side of Hernand.
The Everfrost Watchtower is a Sanctum filled with enemies. You can fight and defeat all the enemies to clear the Sanctum, but you can also go around it to get the piece without any trouble. Once you are at the watchtower, climb up the cliff to the left of the watchtower. Here, you will spot the treasure chest behind steel bars.
To lower the steel bars, all you have to do is light up the brazier. Interact with it to light it up, and you can loot the treasure chest to get the Plate Armor of the Shadows.
Plate Cloak of the Shadows Location in Crimson Desert
The Plate Cloak of the Shadows is at the Hoenmark Ruins, the exact same location as Beloth, the Darksworn. However, you do not have to trigger the fight to get it.
While you are at the ruins, go to the top of the ruin at the back. Go to the center of the ruin to spot a unique flooring. Crouch down to one side of the flooring and use the Force Palm skill. It will turn the floor and make you drop down into the room with a treasure chest.
Loot the treasure chest to get the Plate Cloak of the Shadows. After that, you can leave the room by lighting the brazier.
Plate Helm of the Shadows Location in Crimson Desert
The Plate Helm of the Shadows is obtained after defeating Beloth, the Darksworn, at Hoenmark Ruins. However, you cannot trigger this fight until the end of Chapter 6. Beloth, the Darksworn, is one of the strongest bosses in the game with wider slash and ground attacks.
He has a lot of health, which makes the fight quite tough, especially if you don’t have hard-hitting weapons. Moreover, the snow blizzard makes the fight more intense. If you do not have a high Ice Resistance Armor, you cannot win this fight, as you will keep freezing.
After defeating Beloth, the quest marker will guide you to the Helm. Follow the quest marker and pick up the Helm of the Shadows to acquire it.
