At some sources of Mysterious Energy, there are ancient ruins with a puzzle just waiting to be solved in Crimson Desert. The Valley Ruins in the Five-Finger Mountain are one such set of ruins, and like the Dragon’s Stone Chamber, they come with a particularly tricky conundrum.
The puzzle presents you with three blocks, each revealing a hidden chamber with a statue, and it is up to you to figure out what to do with each one to solve it. Our Crimson Desert Five-Finger Mountain Valley guide will help you find the clues to solve the puzzle in the intended way and get you straight to the answer below.
How to Solve the Five-Finger Mountain Valley Ruins Puzzle

At the site of the Five-Finger Mountain Valley Ruins, which sits between the White Wastes Sanctuary and the Silver Wolf Mountain area in Crimson Desert, you will find three block-like contraptions.

- Each block can be pushed forward to reveal a hidden compartment with a statue on the wall across the gap.
- Each of these statues has three faces that can be rotated with an arrow, which is the gimmick for this puzzle.

Behind the blocks, you will find three more statues and a larger one that is placed between the hidden compartments. These are the only real clues you’re given, and the three statues appear to represent a man, from left to right, holding a shield, a hammer, and a sword, while the larger statue holds all three at once.
The basic idea is to rotate each statue until you align each one to hold one of the mentioned items. You can confirm the correct position when the statue’s eyes glow yellow, which lets you know you are doing it correctly.
Five-Finger Mountain Valley Ruins Puzzle Solution

As soon as you push a block all the way, you must aim your arrows at the statue to make it spin until it is correctly aligned.
Here is a small tip: the statue spins more if you aim closer to the edges.
You need to be quick about it, because the block will return to its original position after a few seconds and cause the chamber to shut.

You must keep repeating the process until all three are aligned and you are left with something like the image shown above, and from left to right, the statues should be holding a sword, a shield, and a hammer.
After solving the Five-Finger Mountain Valley Ruins puzzle, an Abyss Cresset replaces the larger center statue. Glide toward and claim it to unlock a convenient fast travel point in Pailune as well as receive an Abyss Artifact.
