JuJutsu Kaisen season 3 has just ended today with today’s final episode titled ‘Sendai Colony‘, which is now being referred to as one of the biggest episodes in the entirety of the series.
Unfortunately, the anime is once again going on a hiatus, just after a premiere lasting a little over 2 months, which wasn’t that long considering the 3-year wait since season 2 aired. Fortunately, though, it has been officially announced that Jujutsu Kaisen is getting renewed for season 4.
Jujutsu Kaisen season 4 release date
The official JuJutsu Kaisen account on X (formerly known as Twitter) announced the title for season 4, ‘The Culling Games Part 2.’ Initially, fans had expected season 3 to be released in 2 cours, considering it was titled ‘The Culling Games Part 1.’ However, this theory has now been debunked as per this new official post.
As for season 4’s release date, it is currently unknown when it will premiere. However, knowing studio MAPPA’s quality work, expect it to take some time before it comes out.
When will JuJutsu Kaisen season 4 release date be announced?

JuJutsu Kaisen will have its own anime panel at AnimeJapan 2026, which is happening on March 28, just a couple of days after. We can expect new details on the anime’s future then.
If we don’t have new information, then MAPPA is celebrating its 15th anniversary in June, so expect tidbits on The Culling Games Part 2 then.
How long will JuJutsu Kaisen season 4 be?

There isn’t much content left in the manga now, and as we near the series finale, expect season 4 to run for the same number of episodes as season 3: 12.
There is more content to cover than just 12 episodes, so it is highly expected that this will be covered in anime films, similar to what Demon Slayer is doing right now.
What will JuJutsu Kaisen season 4 be about

The Culling Games arc is just halfway through, and much better things are about to come. Season 3 was just a setup for the entire storyline, and season 4 will bring in the real showdowns with some of the biggest sorcerers and cursed spirits in the entire timeline of the JuJutsu world.
Major Spoiler Alert:
JuJutsu Kaisen season 4 will focus on the battles within Tokyo Colony 2, featuring big characters like Yuta, Hakari, Kashimo, and more. This will be the most fleshed out season so far, and it may even overshadow the main characters from JuJutsu High, at least in the first half.
If we’re lucky, we may even see the return of Gojo and his fight against Sukuna. It’s likely that season 4 will end on a big cliffhanger, with the rest of the material being adapted into movies.
