The enormous open world of Pywel in Crimson Desert is brimming with activity and incentivizes exploration more than anything. If your curiosity gets the better of you, you’re always rewarded for it, such as for when you stumble upon a Goddess of Justice Statue and come away with the Legionary’s Gladius Sword.
If you are looking to add a new weapon to your arsenal early on without going too far out of your way, such as in the case of the Soul Spear and Darkbringer, the Legionary’s Gladius Sword is a solid choice. Here’s how to find this Goddess of Justice Statue and get the weapon in Crimson Desert.
How To Get The Legionary’s Gladius Sword In Crimson Sword

As shown on the map above, the exact location of the Legionary’s Gladius Sword is near the Heart of the Saint waterfall in the Three Saints’ Falls, which you’ll likely have visited as part of fishing a Tench for Anabella’s Request.
Once there, you will find a statue holding two candles and a locked room with a chest behind it. While facing the statue, you’re also prompted to play the memory of the Statue of the Goddess of Justice if you want a bit of background context.

Regardless, unlocking the room is fairly simple. All you need to do is light each candle that the statue is holding to open it. This allows you to claim the contents of the chest, which is the Legionary’s Gladius Sword.
The weapon has 12 attack, which is nothing impressive at first glance, but that comes down to it being in an unrefined state.
The Legionary’s Gladius Sword can, therefore, be upgraded by refining it at a Smithery and can also hold up to three Abyss Gears at maximum, which is perfect for the first few hours of the game.
