Are you wondering what the small orange glowing cubes scattered around the map in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 are? These are Chaos Cubes, and collecting them is a big part of the Path of the Voyager quest this season.
Each cube gives you 4,000 XP. With 70 total cubes by the end of the season, that’s up to 280,000 XP just from running around and grabbing them. Right now, 40 cubes are available, with the remaining 30 dropping on April 1, 2026.
How Chaos Cubes Work

Chaos Cubes are pretty easy to collect once you know what to look for. When you’re close to one, two things happen:
- You’ll hear a humming sound
- An exclamation mark pops up on your screen pointing to it
To grab it, just walk into it or hold the interact button. That’s it. Five cubes sit at each POI (Point of Interest), so you can score 20,000 XP per location if you grab them all in one run.
All Chaos Cube Locations in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2
Wonkeeland

Wonkeeland is a theme park area with cubes hiding in some clever spots, indoors, outdoors, and even up on a mountain.
- Northwest docks area — check the upper level of a waterfront building, there’s a crate with a cube inside
- Under the slide — enter from the north-facing door and you’ll walk straight up to it without any hassle
- West of Mountain summit — climb all the way to the top of the tallest peak north of the park
- Over the park’s main statue — the cube floats just above the Wonkeeland mascot statue near the front entrance
- Tucked in some bushes — look around the small structure nearby, the cube is hidden in the shrubs right next to it
Latte Landing

This spot has cubes spread across cliffs, boats, and buildings. Keep your eyes open.
- Northwest clifftop — two camping tents sit up there, and the cube is right in the gap between them
- Sunken boat in the northeast — the vessel is partially underwater, and the cube is sitting right on it
- Bun Voyage building, top floors — take the stairs up to the third level in this southwest structure to find it
- Swing set on the east side — easy to spot once you’re near the playground equipment
- South end blue tent — peek inside the tent at the furthest southern tip of the area
Painted Palms

A mix of snow and tropical vibes here, and the cubes are spread across both.
- Snowy section to the west — there’s a shelter with a UFO nearby, and the cube sits right underneath the blue canopy
- West side food truck — the Durrr Burger truck is parked here, and the cube is inside it. You can grab it through the window or just break the truck open
- South side film trailer — Kendano Cheeves has an actor trailer parked here, and the cube is waiting inside
- Painted boulder with a zipline — the cube is sitting right beneath that large rock, easy to grab as you pass through
- Crashed airship in the northeast — look for a large carnivorous plant nearby, the cube is sitting right in its open mouth
Dark Dominion

This area has some of the trickiest cubes. A couple of them require you to break glass to get inside.
- Small black structure to the northeast — the entrance is blocked, so smash through the glass panel on the west-facing wall to get in
- Underground beneath the Zero Point Shard — drop down into the area under the central shard (break the glass floor first if it hasn’t been destroyed yet), and the cube is right there at the bottom
- Southeast red building’s outdoor area — walk around to the back and check the barbecue grill sitting outside the westernmost red structure
- Blue-roofed house to the south — head straight to the bathroom, the cube is chilling in the tub
- Vineyard south of the main area — go into the house with the red roof, and you’ll find the cube displayed on the mantelpiece above the fireplace
Fore Fields

Fore Fields is a golf-themed POI. Most cubes are out in the open here, which makes this one of the easier locations.
- Small island in the northeast — swim or glide over and look up at the flagpole, the cube is sitting right at the top
- Northwest fairway area — spot the golf bag and the big “300” yardage marker, the cube is right beside them
- Southern clubhouse — go inside and look for a board game on a table, the cube is placed right on top of it
- Southwest camping spot — there’s a red cooler next to a tent, give it a smash and the cube will drop out
- Sailboat in the southeast — hop on the boat docked in the corner and grab the cube off the deck
Humble Hills

Humble Hills has some fun cube spots, including one hiding on a giant sign.
- Northwest building — step inside and look for the Peely banana statue, the cube is resting right on it
- Northeast house — the cube is hovering just above the outdoor pool in the backyard
- Southeast house — check the hot tub on the patio, the cube is floating right above it
- Uncle Pete’s Pizza Pit truck — the food truck is parked just north of the big Battlewood sign, and the cube is inside
- The Battlewood sign itself — climb up and check the back side of the letter “A,” the cube is hidden right behind it
Sus Studios

Sus Studios is a movie set area with multiple stages. The cubes are spread across each stage.
- Stage 2, the west building — look for a quirky little cooking scene set up with garden gnomes and small robots, the cube is right there in the middle of it
- Stage 1, the center building — the cube is up high on the metal scaffolding above the film sets, so look up when you walk in
- East building, upper floor — take the stairs up and check the second level of the easternmost studio
- Cosmic Durrr Burger, northeast of Sus Studios — it’s a separate building just outside the main lot, the cube is inside
- Sandy bridge east of Sus Studios — there’s a construction vehicle parked here, and the cube is wedged underneath the extended arm at the back
Battlewood Boulevard

Last but not least, Battlewood Boulevard has cubes hidden in a theater, a climbing wall, and more.
- Golden Reel movie theater, northeast building — head upstairs to the projection room and look next to the old film projector
- Rock climbing wall in the northwest — the cube is placed right at the very top, so you’ll need to scale the wall to reach it
- Bridge area in the center — there’s a small inflatable pool sitting beside the bridge, and the cube is right in it
- Southeast house — walk inside to the dining area, the cube is sitting on one of the tables
- Southwest building — it’s a standalone structure just outside the main boulevard, check inside for the last cube
Chaos Cubes are one of the best ways to stack XP fast in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2. With 40 available right now and 30 more coming on April 1, there’s no reason not to start collecting.
Give yourself a goal, try to clear two or three POI locations per session. Before you know it, you’ll have the Path of the Voyager quest done and a mountain of XP to show for it.
