Concrete is an important processed building material in Pokemon Pokopia, which is used in advanced structures like roads, pipes, walls, steps, elevators, and major rebuild projects, such as the Celadon Tower equivalent or other requests in Sparkling Skylands.

Unlike most basic resources, concrete cannot be mined or simply found in the wild. You will have to produce it through special processing that involves a Concrete Mixer and Limestone. This guide will provide you with tips and tricks on how to make concrete in Pokemon Pokopia.

Craft and Place the Concrete Mixer Correctly

Concrete becomes available only after you advance to the Sparkling Skylands region, which is the late game area with construction themes. Speak to Tinkmaster, who will guide you toward needing the concrete with his requests and unlock all the related tasks. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Find and befriend Conkeldurr, who is a key Pokemon with the Crush specialty, by building the construction-site generator habitat.
  2. You can find it in the Sparkling Skylands, often near a construction site generator.
  3. After you speak to him, Conkeldurr will grant you the Concrete Mixer recipe.

Once you have the recipe, all you need to do is craft the Concrete Mixer at the workbench using 2x Iron Ingots. Then, you need to place it near a water source, be it a river, a pond, a lake, etc. The reason is that the pipe of the mixer should reach the water for mixing to work. If not, the game will warn you about it, so place it correctly.

Collect Limestone and Produce Concrete

After crafting and placing the Concrete Mixer, you need to obtain some Limestone at the Rocky Ridges or Sparkling Skylands. Once you have some of the limestone ore, you can start producing concrete. Here’s how:

  1. Interact with the Concrete Mixer and insert Limestone into it.
  2. Bring along Conkeldurr or any other Pokemon with the Crush specialty.
  3. This Pokemon will automatically assist you and process the Limestone.

Note that processing of Limestone takes some time, which is the case with other similar production stations in the game. Once your Pokemon completes crushing and mixing Limestone, you can collect all the Concrete output, which is used in such recipes as Concrete Pipe, Asphalt Road, Concrete Wall, Concrete Steps, Elevator Platform, and many others.
