While there are various materials you’ll need to collect for crafting in Pokemon Pokopia, there are also occasionally limited-time resources that can be found during events. For instance, during the ‘More Spores for Hoppip’ event, which runs until March 25, you’ll need to collect a wealth of Cotton Spores to trade the event’s titular Pokemon for cute new items.
Getting Cotton Spores won’t be as simple as wandering around the game’s main biomes, though. You’ll need to do a bit of traveling to score this floating currency. So, if you’re looking to get your hands on some Cotton Spores, we’ll fill you in on everything you need to know below.
How To Get Cotton Spores In Pokemon Pokopia

To get Cotton Spores in Pokemon Pokopia, you’ll need to visit Dream Islands by speaking to Drifloon and using one of your Dolls. You can only visit one Dream Island per day, but you can leave and return to the island as many times as you’d like during each 24-hour period.
When you arrive on a Dream Island, you should almost immediately notice various floating Cotton Spores scattered across the terrain. Simply approach the spores and interact with them to pick them up.
If you’re thorough enough, you can find upwards of 50-70 Cotton Spores on some Dream Islands. But if you still need more, there’s always tomorrow!
Where To Use Cotton Spores In Pokemon Pokopia

To use the Cotton Spores you’ve obtained, head to a Pokemon Center and go inside. During the ‘More Spores for Hoppip’ event, you’ll find Hoppip hanging out behind the counter of the Pokemon Center, eager to sell you some unique wares.
You’ll need some of the items that Hoppip sells here to create habitats for the event’s other two limited-time Pokemon, Skiploom and Jumpluff, so make sure you gather the necessary Cotton Spores to buy at least one of everything. To buy each item Hoppip sells, you’ll need a total of 75 Cotton Spores, which should only take a handful of Dream Island trips. That’s not so bad!
