Well, we didn’t have to wait long to find out! Heartopia has recently uncovered that they will be doing another crossover collaboration, and this time it is with Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf. The announcement simply reads ‘Heartopia x Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf Collaboration is coming soon. Is it okay to take a nap before the new friends arrive?’

All fans know so far is that the collaboration is in the works. Heartopia is yet to announce an official release date or window in which the event will run, as well as everything it will involve. The only thing that has been showcased ahead of time is some themed outfits, which were shared in the comments section of Heartopia’s announcement.
Heartopia Fans Push Aside New Collaboration to Call Out Ongoing Issues
However, the response from players hasn’t been all excitement and anticipation, to say the least. In fact, many Heartopia fans are using this post to share their frustrations with the game regarding ongoing issues such as bugs, a seemingly rigged gacha system, and a heavy presence of in-app purchases and monetization.
“Not putting any more money into this game as long as the gacha system doesn’t get fixed. Also, people should get permanent exhibition passes or heart diamonds for free from the daily quests. It’s unacceptable how you treat f2p & paying customers.”
“They should fix the gacha system. They advertised Heartopia as being friendly to free-to-players, but it’s difficult to get sets no matter how hard you try. They should be fair to the other servers.”
“Honestly, if you’re gonna put out events, collaborations and etc, at least give exhibition passes and even let us grind for exhibition passes for dailies and fishing, bird watching and other events. It’s really irritating how you devs dont give players anything at all”
To say the least, players are showing clear frustration towards the game at the moment. This isn’t the first time Heartopia has received backlash, either. Further examples include a strong amount of users rallying against the use of generative AI within resources and minigames, and a recent side quest that gained a lot of attention for including racist imagery.
Will Heartopia be able to make the changes players are so desperately asking for before, or even during the arrival of this new Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf event?
