You can fast travel among your home bases without taking a long walk. To make a house, you do not have to do much; a small hut will count as a home base. Once you have a home base in a new area, you can customize and enlarge it later.
Focus on Habitats
Every Pokemon has a specific environmental requirement for it to thrive. Look for a sparkling spot in your surroundings to discover a new habitat. Complete the habitat to make the corresponding Pokemon spawn into it. The more habitats you complete, the more Pokémon you will get to unlock.
