A Dead End is a brand-new quest for Shani in Arc Raiders, added with the recent Shrouded Sky update. This quest is readily available for acceptance after updating the game to the latest client.

A Dead End Quest Walkthrough – Arc Raiders
A Dead End quest requires players to deploy on the Blue Gate map to look for underground facilities. Moreover, the players must retrieve a record on Project Heartwood for Shani and extract safely. Here are all the objectives of the A Dead End quest in Arc Raiders.
NOTE: A Dead End requires the objectives to be completed in One Round. If you die at any point during the raid, you will have to start over.
Find MANTIKOR’S Underground Facilities
As you deploy into the Blue Gate map, you need to head for the Security Wing, which you can reach by going to the Reinforced Reception. It is on the north side of the map. After reaching the Reinforced Reception, head down the zipline to the Security Wing.
From the Security Wing entrance, head straight through the door and take a right through the tunnel. After the tunnel, you will spot a locked room on the right that you have to open.
Find a way into the locked room in the Security Wing
To open the locked room in the Security Wing, you need to place three batteries in the sockets beside the door’s button. There are a number of spawn points for the batteries in the Security Wing. A couple of the most common ones are underneath the staircase in the main lobby, and the other is on the wall next to the breachable door.
After locating the batteries, pick them up one by one and bring them to the locked door. Place all three batteries to unlock the room.
Search the locked room for any records on Project Heartwood
Upon unlocking the room, head to the back right corner to search the records. Interact with the machine to play the recording. Once done, you need to find a Dusty Film Reel for Shani. To do so, head to the left corner of the room. Search the machine in the corner to get the Dusty Film Reel.
TIP: Put the Dusty Film Reel in the Safe Pocket so you don’t lose it even if you fail to extract.
Rewards
After extracting with the Dusty Film Reel, you can hand it over to Shani, which will conclude the quest. It will earn you the following rewards for completing the A Dead End quest in Arc Raiders.
