For the first time, Netflix is screening the first two episodes of One Piece Season 2 in theaters. The event takes place on March 10, 2026, across 200+ select theaters in three countries.

One Piece Season 2 Production and Filming Details
Filming for Season 2 began on June 24, 2024, in Cape Town, South Africa, and wrapped on December 15, 2024. Eiichiro Oda visited the set and gave the production his approval. Co-showrunner Matt Owens stepped down in March 2025 for health reasons, with Joe Tracz continuing solo through post-production.
The season releases in four dubbed languages: English, Japanese, French, and Spanish.
Netflix greenlit Season 3 in August 2025, before Season 2 even aired. Season 3 began filming in November 2025 and will complete the Arabasta saga.
