The A Rising Tide quest is the final mission in ARC Raiders‘ Shrouded Sky update, and it’s a good one. It takes you across two maps: Buried City and Dam Battlegrounds. There’s nothing too hard here, but knowing where to go saves you a lot of time. Here’s exactly what to do.

A Rising Tide Quest Walkthrough

To complete the A Rising Tide questline in ARC Raiders easily and efficiently, follow this step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Find the Foreman’s Apartment in Buried City

Your first stop is Buried City. You’re looking for a barricaded apartment south of Piazza Roma. There are two apartment blocks side by side in that area, you want the northern one.

The easiest way in is from the rooftop of the building northeast of the apartment. Head up to the rooftop and look for a zipline. Take it across, then jump off onto the platform on your right when you see it.

Time it right and you’ll land directly inside the apartment. If you miss it, just use the stairs, it takes a bit longer, but it gets you there.

Once inside, walk to the back of the room and interact with the digital logbook on the table. That’s all you need here. Extract from Buried City and move on.

Step 2: Head to Dam Battlegrounds

Now it’s time to switch maps. Head into Dam Battlegrounds and make your way to the Power Generation Complex, it’s the big POI at the northern end of the map. Just entering this area is enough to trigger the next step.

Step 3: Get Into the Controlled Access Zone

The Controlled Access Zone is just south of the Power Generation Complex. There are a few ways to enter, ziplines from the swamps, or through the Complex itself, but the quickest way is a ladder on the outside of the building. 

Head to the exterior, find the ladder, and climb down. When you reach the bottom, you’ll see a large destroyed ARC unit hanging from the ceiling. That’s your signal that you’re in the right place.

Step 4: Find the Clues About the Foreman’s Reconstruction Project

This is the last step. Before you can access the clue room, you need to find a fuel cell first.

Head down to the very bottom level of the Controlled Access Zone, the floor is flooded and there are old ARC units scattered everywhere. The fuel cell can spawn in a few different spots, so check all of the spots if you don’t see it right away.

Once you grab it, climb back up the stairs toward the top and look for the fuel cell compartment along the eastern wall. Insert it there. You’ll see a locked door open up through a window right in front of you.

Walk into that room and interact with the whiteboard showing a map of how Dam Battlegrounds powers the Spaceport. Take the photo and you’re done! Next, head to any extraction point and get back to Speranza to turn the quest in. 

A Rising Tide isn’t complicated, it’s mostly about knowing the two key locations and not wasting time wandering around. Follow the steps above and you’ll finish it clean on your first run.
