Camera Lens is an important component for the Weather Monitor System in ARC Raiders, which requires three of them and rewards you with the Anemometer Charm. It requires three such lenses, which cannot be crafted, purchased from vendors, or obtained by recycling other materials, making it a unique find on the map.
You can find Camera Lenses in security containers, such as lockers, drawers, metal crates, shelves, and sometimes loosely sitting on desks. As you see, they appear in nearly all container types but only at highly specific locations. This guide will provide you with exact spots where you can find them on the map.
Dam Battlegrounds Camera Lens Locations
You’ll be able to find the largest concentration of Camera Lenses on the Dam Battlegrounds map at the following spots:
- Hydroponic Dome Complex
- Control Tower
- Water Treatment Control
- Research & Administration
- Controlled Access Zone
- Power Generation Complex
Be sure to check all the glass domes, metal crates, and lockers when playing in Solo or Free Loadout. If the spawn is bad, then respawn and retry for better security access.
The Spaceport Camera Lens Locations
The rest of the maps have a much more limited number of possible Camera Lens locations, but you can find a couple at the Spaceport:
- Departure Building
- Launch Towers
There, try looking upstairs, inside the rooms full of desks and drawers. Also, prioritize containers, breach metal crates and lockers first. Note that even looted ones may have uncommons like this, which most players just skip.
Blue Gate Camera Lens Locations
If you find yourself in the mountains at the Blue Gate map, then head over to the Headhouse between the Data Vault and Outer Gates. Be sure to check out the following areas:
- Reinforced Reception
- Security Wing Checkpoint
Note that you can track your findings via the Project menu. If you see the eye icon on the map, which auto-highlights the needed items, take a closer look and don’t accidentally recycle them once found.
Space Montis Camera Lens Locations
Stella Montis has quite a few possible spots for Camera Lens crates and lockers in the Lobby area, such as:
- Security Office
- Security Bridge
- Assembly Workshop
- Loading Bay
- Cultural Archives
Once you’re there, rotate the map to get all three lenses in just a couple of runs. Also, watch out for Rocketeers and Fireflies in the open areas.
Buried City Camera Lens Locations
Lastly, check out the northern tech-heavy area of the Buried City, where you can raid the New District area, including:
- Space Travel
- Research Facility
The local buildings, generally, have dense loot and quick access to the Central Elevator for extraction. Zipline in and out of windows for safety, and use Safe Pockets if available.
