‘Friendslop’ is a gaming term that has gained popularity in the last year or so, referring to a specific genre of games. Friendslop games are generally goofy, fun co-op or multiplayer games with a mix of simple/easy mechanics, crazy physics, hilarious interactions, and just pure mayhem and laughter with friends.

If you’re looking for a collection of new friendslop games to consider trying out, we’ve got you covered. Here are some of the best new releases and upcoming friendslop games to consider adding to your rotation.

Burglin’ Gnomes

Burglin’ Gnomes is an upcoming game with a demo featured in Steam Next Fest. In this title, you and your friends become little gnomes with a knack for stealing things. You’ll need to sneak your way into a human house and complete objectives such as wrecking their furniture and stealing personal belongings to bring back as offerings.

You’ll need to keep an eye out for danger, though! There’s a human lurking around, and he will get rid of you on sight! From being put in the freezer, burnt in the fireplace or oven, or even fired at with a gun, there is danger lurking around every corner. You’ll need to be sneaky and clever with when and where you choose to hide and scurry.

Crashout Crew

From the creators of the massive ‘friendslop’ hit, PEAK, Crashout Crew is a new upcoming title in the works. While PEAK, for the most part, has fairly relaxed mechanics, Crashout Crew kicks things up in chaos quite a bit, providing vibes similar to those of Overcooked.

In Crashout Crew, you operate little forklifts and use them to race around, organize supplies, and send them off. Of course, if you run into obstacles or pack the wrong supplies, things can get hectic quickly. Mess up too many times, and you’ll temporarily lose control of your cart as your character ‘crashes out’.

Super Battle Golf

Super Battle Golf is a brand-new release as of February 2026, providing a hilarious, competitive co-op take on the classic ‘golf with your friends’ game concept.

Compatible with 1-8 players, this game has the spin that everyone is playing at the same time. You can ‘swing, shoot, and sabotage’ your way to victory in a rush to score the most points and emerge as a gold champion! From hitting your friends with golf carts, firing lasers across the field, and more, there are plenty of ways to cause chaos.

Hold Your King

Hold Your King is an upcoming physics-based co-op game for 2 or 4 players, with a demo available in Steam Next Fest. In this game, you and your buddies need to carry the king through medieval courses, platforms, and obstacles.

You’ll all have to work together to balance the king all the way to the throne room. You’ll need to be careful, too, as if you take too many wrong steps, the king will react in rage!

We Gotta Go

We Gotta Go is about as ‘friendslop’ as a title gets, taking a similar approach to the likes of R.E.P.O…but with much more poop. No, really, the entire premise of the game is that you and your friends really, really need to poop.

In order to get to a toilet and fulfill this dire goal, you’ll need to make your way through a haunted mansion to reach the bathroom. Along the way, you’ll need to fight your way through monsters, jump across platforms, and use farts to stop yourself from pooping your pants. It’s silly, it’s a little bit stupid, and honestly? It’s actually a ridiculous amount of fun.

YAPYAP

YAPYAP is a recent release on Steam in the form of a co-op horror title in which you and up to 5 friends have been sent to break into enemy wizard towers to wreak havoc.

Players can find different wands, use their real voice to cast a series of spells that push, pull, smash, teleport, and more. You and your friends will also need to battle your way through various monsters and obstacles as they bring chaos and vandalism to every corner.

Roadside Research

1-4 players can gear up as undercover aliens at a gas station in Roadside Research. You’ll need to do very human tasks, such as restocking shelves and interacting with humans in a totally…human manner.

As you do this, your goal is to collect as much information on humans as possible by scanning, stealing, and testing various methods on customers while they stop by the gas station…just don’t get caught!

Pit of Goblin

In Pit of Goblin, your task is simple. You must explore dungeons and find food to bring back to satisfy the King Queen’s bottomless appetite. However, there are certain threats along the way that you can expect to run into, from deadly traps to fearsome monsters.

You’ll also need to carefully manage your food resources to keep your own stamina going, or to sell to the shop and purchase gear for your next adventure…just make sure you leave enough for the gluttony of King Queen!

Frog Sqwad

Frog Sqwad takes the form of a 1-8 player co-op puzzle-platformer in which you and your friends are tiny, chaotic frog critters. Players and their friends will swing, jump, and catapult one another across a variety of different courses.

The frogs can also all chomp down on food along the way until they become ‘MEGAFROGS’ – sounds like a hopping good time! Frog Sqwad is also participating in Steam Next Fest with a free playable demo, so if you’re looking to try this one out, now is the time.

Totally Secure Airport

Are you ready for a very, very important job? The upcoming title, Totally Secure Airport, puts you in the role of airport security, where you will need to check documents, search passengers, and scan luggage to maintain a safe environment.

From naked passengers to bombs in luggage, things in Totally Secure Airport can get hectic rather quickly. It’s the perfect game to jump into with your squad, break off into different tasks, and wait for the craziness to unfold. For anyone who enjoys goofy simulators or simply hilarious friendslop shenanigans, this one is looking to be a promising new entry.

Dig, Dig, Die

Looking for a new co-op horror title for you and your friends? Well, Dig, Dig, Die is an upcoming title on Steam that fits the description. In this one, players board a cursed flying ship and raid haunted graveyards for loot.

The chaos isn’t limited to just this main gameplay loop, however. You’ll also be able to gamble in the on-ship casino, visit vending machines to obtain handy boosters, and navigate spooky UFO abductions. Monsters also listen out for you and your friends in voice chat, so you’ll need to be careful while you’re out there robbing graves for loot.

We Are So Cooked

Last, but certainly not least, We Are So Cooked is an upcoming 1-4 player physics and stealth-based co-op in which you and your friends have accidentally killed someone, and are now scrambling to hide the body.

You’ll need to navigate your way through avoiding security and civilians, the goofy physics of moving the body, and use tools from the environment to distract or sneak past bystanders.
