After a great first installment of the 2026 road map, the ARC Raiders team has finally given us more info on the Shrouded Sky update, which will be live tomorrow, February 24th!
Hurricane: Map Condition
The first bit of information that we were given in the article posted on the ARC Raiders site is the newest map condition; a hurricane. My prediction for this condition was pretty close to accurate this time around! During the hurricane condition, debris will be flying around the map and batter your shield, as well as leave your raider losing their sense of direction. However, new First Wave Raider Caches will be unearthed, which we can only assume more high tier loot being inside of them!
Weather Monitoring System: Project
We were also given a little bit of insight into the next project that us raiders will be working towards. Because of the hurricanes, we are going to be helping Shani build a weather monitoring system to help better prepare for future climate issues. We aren’t sure exactly what we are going to need to build this system, so don’t start using up all of that storage space just yet!
New ARC Threat
I don’t know about you, but ARC Raiders is starting to feel a little safe now that we’ve figured out the best ways to go around destroying the ARC threats. Thankfully?, we are getting two new ARC threats added into the mix. The first, the Firefly, will be a flying ARC that sets your raider ablaze. The second, the Comet, unleashes a seismic boom on unsuspecting raiders. Be careful out there!
Free Raider Deck: Surgeon
This month, we will also be receiving another free Raider Deck to complete. This one unlocks the Surgeon cosmetic which, for some reason, all masked up, kind of looks a squid? Regardless, I think it’s awesome that the ARC Raiders team gives us these Raider Decks for free and always include currency and a free skin to go along with them. Thank you, Embark!
Facial Hair
Inside of the Raider Deck, we will also be unlocking facial hair for our raiders! As it says in the article, stubble will be immediately available after the update, and the Full Beard will be attainable through the raider deck. On top of that, we will be getting a Thick Moustache in the store as well.
Dam Battlegrounds: Map Update
The Dam will also be getting a little bit of an update. The Controlled Access Zone is a new high-value loot area that has been uncovered for raiders to explore. Apparently we will know where it is based on a Rocketeer chandelier. You’ll also know where it is when we find it and post a short guide on how to get to it!
New Cosmetic Bundle
Finally, it would not be an ARC Raiders update without a new addition to the store. This time around, we are getting two new skins, as well as a new backpack set and raider tool set. The first skin is called The Volare and the second The Devotee. We’re not positive if these will be skins that you can use your Raider Tokens for, or if it will be like The Bonecrown Set in which you pay real money, but get the skin and Raider Tokens for it.
