One of the mini-bosses you can come across in The Caves is Big Slime. Just as the name entails, he’s a big slime, but he’s secretly holding medium and smaller slimes inside of him. The number of enemies can get quite overwhelming, so to help you out, here are some tricks to beating Big Slime in Mewgenics.

Big Slime Boss Guide in Mewgenics

Big Slime is a lot like the Boris boss from The Sewers; he will try to trample and ram into your cats. Hit attacks deal eight damage, so don’t underestimate him. Avoid getting trampled by Big Slime by disrupting his next move.

You can do this by stunning, immobilizing, or turning him into an ice cube. If you can’t do this, don’t try hiding behind rocks because Big Slime can push them aside.

Once you defeat Big Smile, he splits into four Medium Slimes. They only have 16 health, but they can still ram into your cats. Avoid standing in front of anything your cats could be pushed into for extra damage.

After their deaths, a Medium Slime will turn into four Small Slimes. AoE attacks work best to clear away these little guys. They only have four health, and can only deal two melee damage. Once you’re at this stage, you shouldn’t worry about failing the combat encounter.
