One of the few possible final bosses of The Alley, aside from Radical Rat, is Queen Hippo, and she can decimate some of your cats with just a few uppercuts. She has quite a few turns during each round, which can make her a difficult obstacle. Let’s discuss some tips for beating Queen Hippo in Mewgenics.

Queen Hippo Boss Guide in Mewgenics

Queen Hippo has 80 HP and has a passive called Brace, which means she takes 4 less damage from all sources. Many of your moves may reduce to just 1 damage, so try to pull out your most damaging moves against Queen Hippo.

Her annoying melee move is Haymaker, which can deal chain knockback damage. Because of this, try spacing out your cats so when one is hit, it doesn’t get pushed into another cat. She also uppercuts any adjacent units at the start of her turn, so try keeping your cats out of her range before her turn.

We would recommend cat classes like Tank to take the most damage, Mage and Hunter to keep a distance, and the Cleric to heal the Tank or anyone who is hurt by Queen Hippo.

Another good tip is to use the Tall Grass to your advantage on this map. If the grass hasn’t grown, use a cat that has a watering ability to grow the grass. Standing in grass gives your cat a 50% dodge chance.
