Fenrir is one of the most obnoxious mini-bosses in The Alley due to his invisible bear traps. He also likes to hide in tall grass, making it even harder to hit him. If you’re also struggling to beat Fenrir, you’re not alone. Here are some tips for when you’re up against Fenrir in Mewgenics.
Fenrir Boss Guide in Mewgenics

Fenrir only has 60 HP, but he’ll make it difficult to be hit by hiding in tall grass (50% dodge chance) and placing bear traps everywhere that turn invisible. If you have a photographic memory, this may not be an issue. But otherwise, your best bet is to have ranged attackers, abilities that can teleport or jump, or spells that can wipe out the tall grass.
If you step into one of the many bear traps Fenrir puts down, you will get hurt and be immobilized. You can bypass this by having a cat that can teleport away, or one that can jump to another spot. It’s also helpful to have classes like Hunter and Mage who can try hitting Fenrir from afar.

To get rid of the tall grass, you should have a cat that can either burn the grass or flatten it with water. This will make it so Fenrir can’t simply hide behind the grass and avoid most hits. Otherwise, if you’re stuck with the grass, try to use it to your advantage by ending your turn while standing in it.
It may also help to have a cat that can push enemies. This way, you can push Fenrir into one of his own traps. Still, Fenrir will occasionally step into his own traps, which is a good way to immobilize him.
Once you take down Fenrir, you can eventually tackle Radical Rat or Queen Hippo as the final boss of The Alley.
