Lucy is one of the bosses you must take down before you defeat Radical Rat and escape The Alley. She has a lot of spell abilities that can hurt your cats through AoE attacks. There are a few things you should know if you’re looking to beat Lucy in Mewgenics, so here are some tips.

Lucy starts in the center of the map, but there are tons of thorny spots on the ground. Be careful where you’re stepping, and remember that you can avoid them by making a trail for your cats to move instead of simply choosing where they should move directly to.

Try to have your cats spread out, as Lucy will start with AoE attacks that take time to appear and give you time to move out of the way. Whether it’s a freezing attack or a burst of fire, keep away from the highlighted areas.

You can actually stop Lucy from completing her spells by stunning her. Using the snowy weather condition, one of my cats spat on her, and she froze into an ice cube. Once her turn came around, she could only break out of the ice cube, and her attack was disrupted.

If you can’t disrupt her attack, make sure to keep your Tank or Fighter-type cats closer to her, and your ranged attackers like the Hunter and Mage farther away. You don’t want your cats with the lowest constitutions to get hurt by her spells.
