After forgetting about the franchise for decades, Konami is not taking any chances. Following the incredible success of Silent Hill F and the SH2 Remake, the franchise is back with the newly announced Silent Hill: Townfall.
The ever-present fog remains, but we’re once again in a different location. This time, the town of Saint Amelia. Here is everything we know about the new entry in the Silent Hill franchise.
What Haunts Saint Amelia?
Konami Digital is partnering with Annapurna Interactive and Screen Burn, the studio known for Stories Untold, to publish Silent Hill Townfall.
While it was mostly a cinematic, this Playstation State of Play trailer showed us a few glimpses of gameplay, and this one is in first person.
Simon carries a weird device that will probably help him spot enemies in the thick fog, which he will then have to take down with, apparently, a piece of wood (and hopefully a couple guns).
The Silent Hill Townfall gave us big pandemic vibes with a deserted town, posters mentioning that nothing can be done until help arrives, and with Simon, the protagonist, having a hospital bracelet on his wrist.
But perhaps the most surprising part of this entire trailer was the fact that Silent Hill Townfall is coming out this year! Less than half a year has gone by since f came out in September of 2025, but we’re getting our hands on a new Silent Hill sometime in the coming months.
That’s all we know so far, but we will update this piece once more information is revealed in the SILENT HILL Transmission that will be broadcast right after the State of Play ends.
