Dataminers have revealed that the Fortnite x Kingdom Hearts collaboration is currently in development and may arrive in the coming months. Fans have been requesting this crossover for years, and surprisingly, it might finally happen soon.
Prominent Fortnite dataminer AdiraFNInfo has revealed that the Kingdom Hearts x Fortnite collab is indeed in development. What was merely a rumor back in 2024 is now coming closer to reality, as Adira is known for sharing leaks that often turn out to be accurate.
Who Will Get the Fortnite Skins?

As for which Kingdom Hearts characters will receive skins, there is still no official information. However, the safest bet is Sora. He is the face of the franchise, and in most major gaming collaborations, the main character is usually introduced first.
As with previous crossovers, cosmetic items are also expected to be included. Players can likely expect Sora’s Keyblade to arrive as a pickaxe skin in Fortnite. It would easily become a fan-favorite item.
Aside from Sora, many Kingdom Hearts fans have shown strong interest in Riku and Axel. That is not a long shot either, as Fortnite tends to include multiple skins in collaborations of this scale.
When Will Fortnite x Kingdom Hearts Collab Release?
As of now, there is no exact release date for the Kingdom Hearts x Fortnite collaboration. However, Adira mentioned that the crossover is expected to arrive in the coming months, which could place it in Season 2.
Recent leaks suggest that the Overwatch collaboration may launch at the start of Season 2. If that happens, Sora and the Kingdom Hearts content would likely be released later in the season.
This is a huge collaboration for Fortnite and could easily become one of its biggest yet. Now that the information has surfaced, fans are already speculating that a Final Fantasy crossover could follow in the future. But that is a discussion for another time, hopefully.
