Kojima Productions have finally officially announced the PC port for Death Stranding 2, their behemoth sequel to the first “strand-type game”.

Sam Porter Bridges returns to PC on March 19th, 2026, less than a year after the June 2025 release date of the timed PS5-exclusive. Here is all you need to know.

PC-Exclusive Features

The original Death Stranding surprised with an impressive PC port of its own back in 2020, so we have high expectations for On The Beach.

The State of Play trailed promises Unlocked Framerates (not for cutscenes, though), Ultra Wide Screen Support, full Dualsense support, Upscaling and Frame Generation.

All the bells and whistles seem to be included and, given how smoothly it runs on a base PS5 while maintaining a unexpectedly high resolution.

While this PC Port was basically confirmed given the fact that the original was ported soon after it came out, it is exciting to see it finally announced. Even more so given how close to release we are already.

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach comes to a PC near you on March 19th, 2026. We’ll update this article when we have details regarding PC requirements and price, but we’re expecting it to follow in the footsteps of other Playstation PC ports.

Horizon Forbidden West, also running in the same Decima Engine, reached PCs on 2024 asking for modest requirements like an RTX 3060 and an RX 5700, but that was a cross-gen title.

Expect heftier requirements for DS2, but the same 60€ asking price that has been the norm for Playstation PC ports in recent years.
