The rumored Fortnite x Overwatch collaboration is starting to come to light, as recent leaks have revealed that Tracer and D.Va will arrive soon as skins. With Overwatch currently entering a brand-new season, this crossover makes perfect sense and could be one that many gamers are excited about.
When Is the Overwatch Collab Coming to Fortnite?
The Overwatch collab is expected to drop on March 19, 2026, right when Chapter 7 Season 2 starts. Epic Games hasn’t officially confirmed this yet, but reliable dataminers, ShiinaBR and Blortzen, have pointed toward this date.
One of the Overwatch characters will apparently be in the Season 2 Battle Pass, possibly as the secret skin.
Which Overwatch Characters Are Coming to Fortnite?
The leaks reveal Tracer and D.Va as the reported characters set to receive skins in Fortnite. They are two of the most iconic heroes in the Overwatch franchise, making them a logical choice for a crossover of this scale.
Tracer is widely considered the face of Overwatch, so it makes sense for her to arrive first. It is still unclear whether her skin will feature the Overwatch 1 design, the Overwatch 2 design, or selectable styles for both. A themed back bling is also likely, with her iconic Pulse Bomb being a strong candidate.
As for D.Va, it will be interesting to see how Epic Games adapts her into Fortnite. In Overwatch, she pilots a large MEKA suit, which raises the question of how it will be implemented.
The mech could function as part of the skin design, a built-in emote, or possibly even a limited-time vehicle, which will definitely look awesome.
Aside from Tracer and D.Va, according to the leakers, there will be four total Overwatch skins in this collab. We don’t know who the other two characters are yet, but fans are hoping for heroes like Mercy or Reaper.

- Hero bundles (with extra items): 2,200 – 2,600 V-Bucks each
- Mega bundle (all four skins): 4,500 – 5,500 V-Bucks
