This resource isn’t actually as tough to come by as you may think, for something that is used to craft such exceptional gear. Let’s take a look at how you can get your hands on Essence of the Void in your Hytale game.

Where to get Essence of the Void in Hytale

In Hytale, you can acquire Essence of the Void by defeating the voidspawn monsters that only spawn at night. These creatures have glowing green eyes, and upon defeat, they drop Essence of the Void.

There isn’t just one type of these monsters, though. Any Void monster that only shows up at night and has those piercing eyes drops Essence of the Void. Most commonly, we’ve found that Void Crawlers consistently drop a few Essence of the Void upon defeat.

Once you have a tier 3 Arcanist’s Workbench, you can use Essence of the Void to craft mithril armor. As a reminder, there is currently no way in this version of Hytale to get mithril without cheating, but once Hytale updates so that it can spawn naturally, you will be able to craft this armor set.
