Munna Spotlight Hour in Pokemon GO
In Pokemon GO, the Munna Spotlight Hour event will begin on February 10 at 6 PM local time and will run until February 10 at 7 PM local time.
This gives players just a short one-hour burst to make the most of these wild Pokemon spawns and the event bonus. For the Munna Spotlight Hour, the event bonus is 2x Catch XP.
This bonus of 2x Catch XP essentially means that players can use the Munna Spotlight Hour to farm XP and assist in grinding towards a quicker level up, perhaps helping them to unlock a few handy rewards.
Munna Spotlight Hour also provides a great opportunity for players to stack up on Munna Candy, find a Munna with the best stats out of the bunch, and even evolve their Munna of choice into Musharna.
To evolve Munna into Musharna, you will need to collect 50 Munna Candy, as well as a Unova Stone.

Luckily, obtaining the Candy should be no problem during Spotlight Hour, as you can simply farm captures on wild Munna. This will help you farm Candies and make the most of the Catch XP bonus. You can then go ahead and transfer extra copies of the Munna you have caught to the Professor in exchange for even more Candy.
With the increased amount of wild Munna spawns appearing in the wild at this time, there are also more chances at beating the lucky odds needed to stumble upon a shiny Munna.
While the shiny rates themselves have not increased, the more frequent spawns give additional chances for one of them eventually pop up as a shiny Munna. To give themselves the best shot at this, players will simply need to encounter as many Munna as possible during the event – meaning items such as Lures can come in handy.
