Where to find Mithril in Hytale

At this time, mithril will not be available as it only spawns naturally in V2 of Hytale’s world generation. V1 is the version that all players have access to right now, but the Hytale team has been working on V2 since 2021, as it will eventually replace V1.

Meanwhile, you can still gain access to mithril by spawning it in Creative Mode. To switch your game to Creative Mode in an Adventure Mode world (or even a Hytale server), simply type “/op self” to gain admin controls.

Now, anytime you press the “O” key, you will switch between Creative and Adventure mode. Mithril will be available for you to spawn from the Creative Mode item menu if you search for it.

Mithril location in V2

Once V2 worlds become playable, mithril will naturally spawn very rarely in the volcanic biome. You should be able to spot it underground in caves. It can also occasionally spawn on the surface of this biome.

Mithril can be easily mistaken for silver, as it’s white in color. You can tell it apart side-by-side as it’s a brighter, slightly blue-ish white, whereas silver is a darker white that’s closer to a cream color.
