How to Solve the First Gate Combination in The 9th Charnel
This is the area you come to after your first trip back into the other part of the story with the dad and his daughter. This building has two rooms downstairs and two upstairs, with a gate at the end of the first floor, with a clock and a combination lock next to it.
This clock shows 4:00, whereas the clock right next to the entrance to the area shows 3:00. The downstairs room on the right has the key to an upstairs room in an overturned wheelbarrow. Upstairs, you can find two more clocks showing 8:00 and 4:00.
As soon as you open the second door, the monster will spawn. While this isn’t a big deal, as you can easily skirt around it to go back downstairs, the game is really unforgiving with checkpoints, and dying means redoing this whole area (though you can just use the answer below).
If we go by the order that players are (supposed) to see these clocks, it is the 3:00 by the entrance, the 8:00 in the upstairs room, and then the other 4:00, and finally the 4:00 by the combination lock itself. If we put these together, the code is 3844, and the gate will open.
