Epic Games has officially announced a collaboration between Fortnite and Honkai Star Rail, marking another major crossover for Chapter 7. The confirmation came through a teaser post on X, revealing that the popular gacha RPG will be joining Fortnite’s ever-growing roster. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Fortnite x Honkai Star Rail collaboration.

When Is the Fortnite x HSR Collab Coming Out?

The Honkai Star Rail collaboration will go live on February 5, 2026, alongside the v39.40 update, which also introduces weapon balance changes for Chapter 7 Season 1.

This release also lines up with the end of the South Park event, Born in Chaos, giving players new content to look forward to as soon as that event wraps up.

Which HSR Characters Are Getting Fortnite Skins?

Epic’s teaser was pretty mysterious, showing just two swords with the caption asking who’s trailblazing their way to Fortnite.” But HSR fans instantly recognized those weapons.

The purple katana belongs to Kafka, one of the most popular Stellaron Hunters in the game. Her signature sword basically confirmed she’s the headliner for this collab. The second weapon is Blade’s shattered ancient sword, which means he’s also very likely to be getting a skin.

Both characters are fan favorites in Honkai Star Rail, so Epic made smart picks here.

If Kafka and Blade do well in the Item Shop, don’t be surprised if Epic releases more HSR characters down the line. Popular characters like Firefly, Sparkle, or Phainon could show up in future updates. Epic loves extending successful collabs, so this might just be the beginning.

What Cosmetics Can You Expect?

Like every Fortnite collab, you won’t just get skins. Here’s what’s likely coming:

For Kafka:

  • The purple katana as a pickaxe
  • A holster or umbrella backbling
  • An emote based on her “Spirit Whisper” ability

For Blade:

  • The Fragmented Sword as a pickaxe
  • Themed back bling to match his design
  • An emote similar to “Mara Struck” reactive style

How Much Will These Skins Cost?

Based on previous collaboration skins, expect to pay around 1,500 to 1,600 V-Bucks for each character skin. The extra cosmetics will cost separately:

  • Backblings: around 500 V-Bucks
  • Pickaxes: around 800 V-Bucks

If you want the complete bundle with everything, you’re looking at around 3,500 V-Bucks. Start saving up now if you want both characters and their iconic HSR style cosmetics.

Will There Be HSR Mythic Weapons?

Epic hasn’t confirmed any Mythic weapons yet, but it’s definitely possible. The two swords from the teaser could become Mythics when the collab drops. There’s also a chance these Mythics could appear exclusively in Blitz Royale mode.

This crossover brings together two massive gaming communities, and it’s shaping up to be one of the best Fortnite collabs of 2026. The combination of Kafka’s stylish design and Blade’s edgy aesthetic should translate perfectly into Fortnite’s art style.

I would suggest you to start saving up some V-Bucks if you are a Kafka or Blade main in HSR.
