Growing your home in Heartopia is a key aspect of the game and requires Home Plots. Whether you want more space to make your house larger, grow your garden, or add beautiful new decorations, you’re going to need more space than what you start out with. Luckily, you can easily expand the number of Home Plots you get, but not without work.
How to Get More Home Plots in Heartopia
You’ll get more Home Plots equivalent to how far you’ve gotten in the game as a whole. As you increase your Developer’s Guild level, you’ll unlock more Home Plots, but they don’t just appear and grow your land. You’ll have to purchase the home plots after they’re unlocked for 8000 coins each. Each time you unlock new ones, you won’t be able to choose exactly which ones are unlocked, so it’s best to plan your expansion for after you know where on the property you’re getting more space.
To purchase the Home Plots once they’re unlocked, simply open the Developer’s Guild app on your watch. Once you’re there, click on the Plot tab at the top right corner of the screen, and you’ll be shown a top-down view of what your property looks like. The game will highlight which Home Plots are available for purchase, and from there, you’ll be able to click on them and spend the 8000 coins to grow your land.
How to Use New Home Plots in Heartopia
After you’ve bought some more land, you get to choose what to do with it. There are a couple of options here, from building a bigger house to adding planters to make some more money. If you want to build more to your house, click the Solo Building icon in the top-right corner of the screen to build by hand. You’ll have to follow the constraints of what plots you’ve got unlocked, but every plot you clear will open up a load of opportunities.
If you choose to garden instead, you can fit plenty of planters in the space of one Home Plot. It can pay for itself pretty quickly, especially if you plant some lucrative seeds in those planters. Plus, you can use the experience earned from the new plot to further level up your gardening skill and unlock even more going forward.
