Yes, you read that right, The Office is coming to Fortnite! Epic Games just teased it on X. It’s a weird collaboration, but for The Office fans (I’m included), it’s such a treat! Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite x The Office collaboration.

Epic Games posted a picture of beets with the caption “Build. Beets. Battle Royale.” If you’ve watched The Office, you’ll get the reference right away. It’s from that episode where Jim dresses up as Dwight and says “Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.” Pretty clever tease.

After the X post, dataminers started digging through the game files and found some interesting stuff. Looks like this collab is happening soon, and we finally know which characters you’ll be able to play as.

Which Characters Are Getting Skins?

According to leaks from trusted sources like AdiraFNInfo, we’re getting two main characters:

  • Michael Scott – The regional manager himself
  • Dwight Schrute – Assistant to the regional manager (no, not assistant regional manager)

These two make total sense. They’re arguably the most popular duo from the show, and you can’t really do The Office without them. Some fans were hoping for Jim and Pam, but those lovebirds aren’t part of this wave. Maybe they’ll come later if this collab does well.

When Can You Buy These Skins?

According to a prominent dataminer, HYPEX, The Office content is expected to be added to the game files in the next update, scheduled for Thursday, January 22, 2026.

If what the dataminers are saying is true, the skins will probably hit the Item Shop sometime between January 22 and February 5. So you’ve got about two weeks where they could drop at any time.

The leaks don’t mention any specific items yet, but there are tons of possibilities. Beets will likely be a new consumable. The stapler in Jell-O would make a perfect back bling. Dwight’s bobblehead could work too.

And don’t forget the Dundie Awards, those would be awesome as accessories or pickaxes. I really hope we get a “Parkour!” emote.

This is definitely one of the stranger Fortnite collabs, but that’s what makes it fun. If you’re a fan of The Office, get ready to drop into Scranton… well, sort of. Keep an eye on the Item Shop starting January 22, and make sure you’ve got enough V-Bucks saved up.
