When you first land on Arcadia-7 in StarRupture, you’re pretty much defenseless against the Vermins. Your harvester tool can help in a pinch, but it won’t save you once you start progressing further into the game. That’s why you’ll need proper weapons as soon as possible.

The first weapon you’ll get in StarRupture is the UPP-7 Reaper Pistol, which you unlock as a reward for reaching level 2 with Griffits Blue Corporation. It’s nothing fancy, but it definitely beats running away from every Vermin you come across. Keep working with the corporation, and you’ll unlock grenades at level 3.

These two weapons will carry you for a while, but the real fun starts when you unlock the Equipment Upgrade Station. This opens up the weapon shop, where you can purchase much better weapons to deal with tougher enemies.

To unlock the AR, Shotgun, and Machine Gun, head to your Equipment Upgrade Station and click on the weapon slot. A new window on the right will show the available weapons.

Click and hold on an unlocked weapon to purchase it using the required War Bonds. Remember to bring your War Bonds in your inventory.

How to Get War Bonds

The easiest way to get War Bonds is by leveling up with Griffits Blue Corporation. You can earn up to 240 War Bonds just by progressing through their levels.

To get more, you’ll need to explore Arcadia-7 and search for dead bodies and loot boxes scattered across the map.

You’ll also find a lot of War Bonds inside abandoned stations, especially while you’re out hunting for blueprints.

Once you’ve unlocked all the weapons in StarRupture, you’ll have a full arsenal to choose from to take down those pesky Vermins roaming around Arcadia-7. Try out each weapon and find out which one fits your playstyle best.
