Vanguards are tougher but clearer to punish, Duelists hit harder where it counts, and Strategists are forced to be a little more intentional instead of endlessly topping bars. The flashiest addition is the Team-Up shakeup, which adds new synergies, deletes an old one, and quietly rebalances the rest.

Shielded Stance shield value reduced from 350 to 300, making Angela easier to punish while holding space.

Captain America
Vibranium Energy Saw cooldown reduced from 8s to 6s, boosting sustained offensive pressure.

Doctor Strange
Maelstrom of Madness Dark Magic-to-damage conversion increased from 1.2 to 1.3. Cloak of Levitation can now be re-cast mid-use, interrupting the ability while preserving movement speed and allowing trajectory changes.

Emma Frost
Energy gain increased across the board: hero hits 10/s to 12/s, Sentience hits 15/s to 18/s, shield hits 5/s to 6/s.

Hulk
Hero Hulk: Incredible Leap minimum charge reduced 0.5s to 0.4s, maximum charge 2s to 1.7s; Gamma Burst cooldown reduced 8s to 6s, damage increased 70 to 75.
Monster Hulk: now immune to launch and knockback effects.

Aquatic Dominion single-charge duration reduced 12s to 10s. Default Monstro Spawn health increased 100 to 125, damage 17 to 18. Enhanced Monstro Spawn damage increased 11 to 12.

Blade
Ancestral Sword: Daywalker Dash now removes slows and applies 8% healing reduction per hit (up to 32%) for 3s; per-hit damage reduced 15 to 8.
Hunter’s Shotgun: pellets reduced 12 to 11; damage falloff begins at 15m; damage at 30m reduced to 50%. Daywalker Dash now slows enemies 40% for 1.5s, with second hit damage increased 20 to 50.

Marvel Rivals Season 6 Patch Notes – Strategist Adjustments

Strategists take a sustain nerf in Season 6, with healing, shields, and mobility trimmed to force cleaner timing and smarter positioning.

Cloak & Dagger
Dagger Storm healing reduced 55/s to 45/s. Spell Fields now grant a one-time 60 heal to allies. Veil of Lightforce and Terror Cape now share 2 charges, recharge in 12s, and trigger a 2s shared cooldown when either is used.

Gambit
Big Easy Impact healing per explosion reduced 25 to 15 (total 75 to 45). Ragin’ Royal Flush healing reduced 75/s to 55/s. Bridge Boost bounces on a single target capped at 2.

Invisible Woman
Guardian Shield value reduced 250 to 200. Shield restoration reduced 42/s to 34/s (total time unchanged). Self-healing reduced 50/s to 25/s.

Rocket Raccoon
Wild Crawl movement speed reduced 10 m/s to 8 m/s.

Parker Power-Up (Peni Parker – Spider-Man)
Spider-Man unlocks Sticky Spider-Bomb via the Team-Up. As Anchor, Peni Parker gains +50 Health.

Marvel Rivals Season 6 Patch Notes: The Meta Gets Tighter

This patch isn’t about breaking the game open, it’s about closing loopholes. Shield stacking is weaker, sustain spam is less forgiving, and Team-Ups are no longer free power with no downside. Hulk and Doctor Strange feel sturdier without becoming immortal, Duelists lose some cheap burst, and supports finally have to make choices. Season 6 doesn’t reinvent Marvel Rivals — it just makes every fight a little more honest.
