Where to Find Ignitium in StarRupture

Finding Ignitium isn’t as simple as mining other ores like Titanium or Calcium, as it requires a special condition. Ignitium can only be found after the Rupture Event, when a massive firestorm incinerates the entirety of Arcadia-7.

Stay inside your base until the Rupture Event ends. Once the firestorm is over, wait for the planet’s temperature to drop to a safe level, this is when the thick gray fog is still covering the surface.

Head outside and quickly explore the surrounding area. You’ll spot red, glowing stones scattered across the ground, still burning hot, these are Ignitium ores. Use your Harvester laser to mine them, the rocks don’t take long to break.

Important: Once the planet fully cools down, all Ignitium ores will disappear, so make sure to act fast.

Why You Need Ignitium in StarRupture

When you first start playing, Ignitium is mainly used to generate Data Points. Bring Ignitium to your Analysis Terminal to convert it into Data Points, which are essential for unlocking more recipes. More recipes mean access to additional materials, helping you increase your trust level with different companies.

Later in the game, Ignitium becomes crucial for Base Core upgrades to increase the cooling capacity. To upgrade your Base Core to Level 2, you’ll need 10 Ignitium.

Remember to always explore the surface after a Rupture Event for special resources. Ignitium isn’t the only thing you can find, Oxallop also appears due to the extreme heat.

Good luck out there!
