The Stabilizer blueprint is one of those items you absolutely need to progress in StarRupture. Without it, you can’t build the structures required for mid-game base development. The game doesn’t exactly pinpoint where to find it, so you might find yourself unsure of where to go. Don’t worry, this guide shows you exactly where to find the Stabilizer blueprint in StarRupture.

Stabilizer Blueprint Location in StarRupture
You can find the Stabilizer blueprint inside a blue box at an abandoned outpost known as Grey Owl. This location is northeast of the Orbital Lander (your starting pod).
If you head northeast from the starting area, you’ll spot a massive machine between two mountains, that’s where you’re headed. On the map, Grey Owl appears in a blue gorge. It looks unique, so it shouldn’t be hard to find.
Before going there, make sure you’re well prepared with enough bullets for your pistol, as you’ll encounter many Vermins along the way. About halfway there, you’ll notice a thick greenish fog. Don’t worry, the fog itself won’t harm you, but Spitter Vermins will. Take them out if needed, or simply run past them.
Also, be sure to have plenty of empty inventory slots, as you’ll find lots of free loot at the abandoned outpost.
Getting On the Outpost
After a bit of hiking, look to your right to see an outpost covered in blue fog, it’s hard to miss. Head toward it and start climbing the stairs. Now this is where the action begins.
The outpost is covered in blue infectious fog. To clear it, you need to shoot the blue blobs on the surfaces. Clear them one by one to progress further.
Again, Spitter Vermin will come in waves, so make sure to ready your pistol. Keep heading upstairs until you find a radar-like machine on the highest point.
The Rupture Trick
There’s actually a neat trick to avoid trouble when heading there: time your journey with a Rupture. Build a temporary base just outside the outpost and wait for a Rupture event.
After the Rupture ends and things cool down, head outside and to the outpost. You’ll find that all of the dangers have been cleared by the firestorm, including the Vermins and the fog.
Getting the Blueprint
After climbing and jumping over the broken stairway, you’ll reach the highest point of the outpost. Behind the machine, look for a blue box in the corner. Open it to find the Stabilizer blueprint inside. Don’t forget to loot the other freebies scattered around as well.
Head back to your base and use the Recipe Station to submit the blueprint, along with other required materials such as Rotors, Tubes, and Data Points, to unlock the Stabilizer. Once unlocked, you can start producing and delivering it to progress even further.
