After getting a steady supply of Titanium, Wolfram, and Calcium Ore going, you might be left wondering what is the next resource to farm in Arcadia-7. That would be Helium-3. The issue is, not only is this harder to find than the three other raw resources, it is much trickier to farm in StarRupture. Where can you find Helium? How can you farm it? And what is it used for? Here is everything you need to know.

How To Get Helium In StarRupture

Like the three initial raw materials in StarRupture, you can find Helium in small quantities in tiny meteors spread throughout Arcadia-7. These look like a dark-blue rock that is emanating purple smoke. Farming one of these fragments will net you 6 Helium-3, which isn’t much to speak of, but is all you’ll get for the earlier stages of the game.
How To Farm Helium In StarRupture

In short, for the first few hours of your time in Arcadia-7, you will only find Helium by farming those blue rocks or by farming meteors and getting lucky.
That is because, unlike with the three previous raw materials you’ll encounter in Arcadia-7, Helium cannot be farmed via an Ore Excavator because, as the name implies, it doesn’t come in Ore form. Helium-3 is a gas, so it requires a specific farming structure.
This structure is simply called Helium-3 Extractor, and you will only unlock it after you reach level 6 with the Selenian Corporation, a few hours into StarRupture.

Once you have access to the Extractor, the process is simple. You’ll need to find Helium-3 deposits, which are also further away from your Orbital Lander than any of the three initial raw materials.
You’ll find Helium-3 deposits on the right side of your map, to the north the radioactive area filled with dead trees which is painting the map a brownish yellow. Be careful as this area is filled with enemies, so come prepared for a fight.
The Helium deposits are quite easy to find as they’re emanating a ton of purple smoke. Plop an extractor on top of those and get a steady supply of Helium-3 directly to your base, just make sure to keep it powered, of course.
What Is Helium Used For in StarRupture?

As you might’ve guessed given the requirements to easily farm it, you won’t need Helium-3 for a bit in StarRupture, but it eventually becomes crucial in your progression.
Helium is used to craft Glass, which is the foundation of a lot of other items. Glass is produced at the Furnace and you get one piece of it per piece of Helium-3 (alongside two pieces of Calcium Powder), so we do recommend you grab any Helium you find through the fragments and meteors and save it.
