You’re landing on an uncharted planet in StarRupture, not knowing where to go or what’s out there, and without a map. That’s because you need to unlock it first. In this guide, you’ll find everything you need to know to unlock the map in StarRupture, so you’ll always know where you’re heading next.

How to Unlock the Map in StarRupture
To get the map in StarRupture, you need to reach Faction Level 3 with Moon Energy Corporation. Once you hit that level, just head to the Corporate Terminal and grab your reward. That’s it, the map is yours.
You have two options to get to Level 3 of the Moon Energy Corporation Faction:
- Deliver 500 Calcium Ores using the Orbital Cargo Launcher
- Deliver 1500 Data Points through the Corporate Terminal
Getting Data Points
This is the method I’d recommend. You can farm Data Points pretty quickly by taking items to the Analysis Terminal. Things like Meteorite Cores or Ignitium will give you tons of points. Just keep delivering stuff there, and you’ll hit 1500 Data Points before you know it.
Getting Calcium Ores
While this method takes more effort, collecting Calcium Ore is mandatory for progression anyway, so no time is wasted. You need to deliver 500 Calcium Ore using the OCL to the Moon Energy Corporation. Once that’s done, head back to the Corporate Terminal to receive your map.

Revealing the Full Map with Geo Scanners
The map only shows areas you’ve explored. To immediately reveal big chunks of the map, you need to find Geo Scanners. These scanners are marked with an Antenna Icon on your map. When you activate one, it reveals about 350 meters around it.
However, you need to prepare for battle, because activating it attracts waves of Vermin enemies. You’ll need to defend it until the scan finishes.
Once the scan completes, you’ll see a huge circle on your map light up, including all the Points of Interest in that area. Try to activate as many Geo Scanners as you can to reveal most of Arcadia-7. Just make sure to bring enough supplies, and get back to your base before the Rupture event hits.
