Recent leaks suggest that the Lord Chainsaw himself is headed down to Tomato Town. According to a post shared by SamLeakss via X on January 5th, a Chainsaw Man x Fortnite collab is currently “in the works”.
No further details have been shared so far. However, the official Fortnite Festival X account confirmed on January 6th that the now-iconic theme for Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc will also be headed to Fortnite in the coming days. With this being so soon, it’s entirely possible that the collaboration may be closer than we think.
Which Chainsaw Man characters are being added to Fortnite?

We don’t have a contract with the Future Devil, so we don’t know exactly which members of Public Safety are set to land on Battle Pass yet. The leaks are pretty bare bones at the moment, leaving us without many clues to work with.
Despite that, it’s safe to assume that there will be a skin available for Denji. And, considering the recent popularity of the Reze Arc movie – and the addition of its theme, Iris Out – it seems possible that Reze will also be added as a playable character. Adding the super-viral Reze dance as an emote seems like too good an opportunity to miss.
Some other characters that could potentially make an appearance in Fortnite include:
- Power
- Aki (who seems like a perfect match for the new Kitsune Sidekick)
- Angel
- Makima
- Beam
- Pochita, as a Sidekick
Really, it would be nice to see Power and Denji emoting with their little dance from the season one intro.
When is the Chainsaw Man x Fortnite collab dropping?

The leak didn’t include a specific timeframe for when to expect the Chainsaw Man x Fortnite collab to drop. We do know a couple of things that could give us hints, though. Firstly, we know that Iris Out is landing with the first Fortnite Festival update of the year. This suggests that the collaboration could be coming soon, as a part of Chapter 7.
It’s not totally out there for tracks to be added to Fortnite alongside relevant collaborations. For example, when the Kill Bill collaboration introduced characters like Gogo Yubari, SZA’s fittingly-titled single Kill Bill was also added to the soundtrack. So, it’s entirely possible that Iris Out is a little taste of what’s to come.
But, on the other hand, the leak only says that the collab is “in the works”. So, for all we know, it could be several seasons’ time before we can get the Victory Royale with ol’ Chainsaw Kid. If so, that’ll probably also impact which characters get skins, as the movie’s promotion cycle ends and hype for 2027’s Assassins Arc builds. Poor Reze might miss out after all.
When is Iris Out being added to Fortnite?

While there’s a lot we don’t know about the Fortnite x Chainsaw Man collab so far, we do know one thing – and that’s when the movie’s theme is being added to Fortnite Festival.
You can expect to hear Kenshi Yonezu’s hit opening, Iris Out, in-game from January 8th. It’s arriving along with Disco Lines & Tinashe’s No Broke Boys.
