Nihil Zero is the next upcoming expansion for the Pokemon TCG. The Japanese set is expected to release on January 23, 2026, and is the first expansion to be based on the Pokemon Legends: Z-A game. Leading up to release, several new cards have been revealed for the Nihil Zero set, including more Mega Evolutions, notable Fossil Pokemon, and more.
Fossil Pokemon & More Megas Have Been Revealed For Pokemon TCG’s Nihil Zero Set
With pack artwork featuring Mega Zygarde, it’s to be expected that many other Megas will be included in Nihil Zero’s complete card list. This could even include some of the new forms released in Z-A, such as Mega Lucario Z, for example.
Much like every other Japanese set that has released for Pokemon TCG, Nihil Zero will likely combine with 1-2 more Japanese sets or theme decks to create one complete English set at a much later date.
Once the cards are compiled into an English set and released, players and collectors will be able to pick up the various retail items for this new expansion. This includes the likes of booster packs, booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes (ETBs), and other collection sets or playable decks.
However, for now, fans can take a look at some of the new cards that have been confirmed for Pokemon TCG’s Nihil Zero set. This includes Tyrunt and Tyrantrum, Amaura and Aurorus, Mega Skarmory ex, Mega Gallade ex, and more.
