How to Get Shiny Clauncher in Pokemon GO
In Pokemon GO, Clauncher is generally available as a wild encounter, and has previously been obtainable through Field Research Task rewards and 1-Star Raids.
During Pinch Perfect, Clauncher is featured as one of the in-theme monsters. Throughout the event, players can encounter Clauncher via wild spawns, 1-Star Raids, Field Research Task encounters, and Timed Research rewards.
Pinch Perfect’s Timed Research changes which Pokemon are encountered as rewards depending on the day of the event. Clauncher will be available alongside Klawf between January 10 and January 11, 2026.
The Paid Timed Research for Pinch Perfect is also available for Trainers to purchase for $1.99 USD, or the same equivalent in local currency. With this Timed Research, players can earn additional encounters with several featured Pokemon, including Clauncher!

How to Get Shiny Clawitzer in Pokemon GO
Clawitzer is much more difficult to come by than its pre-evolution, Clauncher. Unlike the first-form Pokemon, Clawitzer has not previously been featured as a wild spawn, Field Research reward, or Raid Boss. This means that the only way to get Clawitzer is if players obtain a Clauncher and then evolve it.
Keeping this in mind, in order to get a shiny Clawitzer, players will need to acquire a shiny Clauncher and then evolve it with 50 Clauncher Candies. To do this, players will need to collect the needed Candies, then open the shiny Clauncher’s Pokemon profile and hit the evolution button.
If you are looking to stockpile Clauncher Candies as quickly as possible, the Pinch Perfect event provides an excellent opportunity to do so. Players can simply farm encounters with Clauncher, capture as many of them as possible, and then transfer extra copies to the Professor.
